Built for real life

Useful before you ever pay.

Personal weather, fixed-city and approximate-location choices, detailed forecasts, an own-weather widget, and share cards are included without an account, relationship, payment, advertising, or tracking.

01

Current conditions and details

See temperature, feels-like, high and low, precipitation, humidity, wind and gusts, UV, sunrise and sunset, visibility, pressure, and dew point when WeatherKit supplies them.

02

Your city, your choice

Choose and keep a fixed city, or grant approximate When In Use location so WeatherKind can resolve a city and request its weather.

03

Dated hourly and daily forecasts

Review a dated hourly outlook and seven-day forecast with precipitation probability and amounts where Apple provides them.

04

Truthful unavailable and stale states

Missing provider fields collapse instead of becoming invented zeroes. WeatherKind distinguishes current, partial, stale, offline, denied, and unavailable states.

Privacy & support

Your information belongs to you.

Build 9 provides personal WeatherKit weather without a developer-operated account, relationship, purchase, advertising profile, or analytics identity.

WeatherKind does not require or offer a developer-operated account in Build 9. Fixed-city choices stay on your device.

When you choose Use My Location, Apple location services provide an approximate location while the app is in use. WeatherKit and Apple's geocoder use it to return weather and a city; WeatherKind does not persist, log, widget, share, or send coordinates to Nash Apps.

Build 9 does not include live relationships, Friend Widgets, purchases, subscriptions, notifications, advertising, analytics, or tracking.

The own-weather widget uses a private App Group on the same device. It receives a coarse display city and weather snapshot, never coordinates.

Support requests are optional and separate from the app. Do not submit precise location or an unredacted private screenshot.

Weather information may be delayed, unavailable, stale, incomplete, or wrong. WeatherKind is not an emergency service or a substitute for official warnings and sources.

Before you install

Clear requirements. No surprises.

Designed for iPhone with iOS 17 or later.

WeatherKit, location, geocoding, and widget behavior depend on Apple services, permission, connectivity, device settings, and regional availability.

WeatherKind is not an emergency service or guaranteed warning service. Use official weather and emergency sources when appropriate.

Good to know

Frequently asked questions.

Do I need an account or another person to use WeatherKind?

No. Build 9 provides personal WeatherKit weather, city choice, detailed forecasts, an own-weather widget, and share cards without an account, relationship, or payment.

Does WeatherKind keep or share my coordinates?

No. If you choose Use My Location, the app passes an approximate location to Apple WeatherKit and Apple's geocoder for that request. Coordinates are not persisted, logged, placed in the widget, shared, or sent to Nash Apps.

What happens when weather cannot update?

WeatherKind shows a dated stale or unavailable state and a recovery action. It does not invent weather values or represent old data as current.

Does Build 9 include payments or subscriptions?

No. Build 9 has no purchase, subscription, account, or paid feature path.

How should I report a privacy problem?

Use the private support form with the exact app version, iPhone model, iOS version, scenario, and timestamps. Redact city and other private information. Do not rely on support for an emergency.
